Dear Community Members,
I recently read about the daffodil memorial garden installation at a Marie Curie hospice (https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/media/press-releases/marie-curie-hospice-cardiff-and-the-vale-daffodil-memory-garden-opens/386762), which rather moved me. Once the hand-crafted metal daffodils, all sponsored by someone wishing to remember a loved one, are no longer on public display, they will continue to be a focus for memories in the individuals' gardens, or wherever they like.
This has reminded me that not everyone is able to, or wishes to, remember a loved one at their graves. As my family graves are abroad, for example, I feel close to those of my family members who have died when I spot specific animals in the wild.
Do you have a personal way to remember a loved one? If so, I would like to invite you to share your experiences here. It may help others find solace in traditional as well as in - supposedly - unexpected places.
