    Hello,

My name is Andrew. i lost my beautiful wife to breast cancer on August 6th 2024. She battled for 13 years.

I knew the inevitable would eventually come as she was having palliative care but whilst in hospital she suffered a heart attack which was totally unexpected so i class her death as sudden. i have seemed to be dealing with it. I have had the numbness, tears, the ordeal of sorting her financial affairs etc. But last week the flood gates opened. I simply cannot stop bursting into tears. It has caused me to be off work which is worrying me in itself. We had no children so i am now all alone at home. We were happily married for 29 years. She was my whole world. How do i deal with the drastic change to my life. Discuss xx

    Regards Andy

I lost my husband in July to prostate cancer we had been together for 44 years. I really don’t know what advice to give you as I am having the same problem of crying continuously I have family but they unfortunately are not understanding and seem to expect me to cope on my own. I thought I would reply to at least let you know you are not on your own and you have my sympathy for your loss. Hopefully it will get better for both of us in time.
